Ginger Biscuit

Ingredients
Flour – 360 gms
Sugar – 240 gms
Margarine – 120 gms
Egg – 1
Ground ginger – 4 teasp
Soda bi carb – 1 teasp
Golden syrup – 60 ml



Method

Mix all the dry ingredients together. Warm margarine & syrup till they melt. Add beaten eggs. Pour into dry ingredeints. Mix to a fairly stiff paste. Take a piece of the dough about the size of a walnut & roll with the palms of your hand. Press into a greased bakind sheet. Place in the centre of a hot oven. Bake till brown & when the biscuits can be lifted off with a knife. Leave on a rack to cool, keep in a tin.
